Try it on lots of things. I've been trying to get used to powdered milk, and this sure does perk it up. Tried it in some orange juice yesterday, and spiked that up. Use your imagination. Ice cream topping? Should be fantastic.



Do you like Irish Creme, or ever tasted it? You're in for a treat. This may not be the real thing; bu it sure does a good imitation. No alcohol, no sugar, so if you're watching that stuff, this is worth at try.

Works well. Two things though



1. Make sure you use some before you put the pump it. It'll overflow otherwise.

2. When you use the pump it squirts out and down, not really totally down. So you have to hold the cup to the spout or at least not directly under it.



I can't do without it. I have them for all my Torani syrup!

I am not sure if I am just not using it correctly, but it seems to get a lot of air in the line. This means you have to pump multiple times to get a significant amount of syrup to come out. However, it does fit Divinci syrup bottles well, and does its job adequately. Not sure if there is a better option out there...



Update: I bought a few more of these and they worked MUCH better. I think I got a dud in the first batch, so that leaves me at 4 out of 5 that worked well. For the price, I guess those odds are not that bad.

It's good in coffee if used very sparingly. It doesn't produce the nice background cinnamon flavor that you would find in something like apple pie or snickerdoodle cookies. Instead, this has a bit more of the "red hot" candy type of flavor to it than the brown sugar and cinnamon flavored syrup (which Amazon does not carry, and it might even be discontinued).

Maybe it's because I used to own a gourmet shop, but whenever I hear the name Torani it brings me images of Italian sodas and flavored sodas. Most people who are coffee drinkers have seen the many different flavors of Torani brand syrups at most of the finer coffeehouses and restaurants. Well today, Torani is more than that and they have brought many of the possibilities together in a new cookbook compiled together by Lisa Lucheta and Ann Rudorf.

The book contains many great recipes using the Torani syrups, from beverages and sauces and marinades to vinaigrettes and meal items. The layout on portions of the book where not well edited and have the reader going back more than one page to see an attached recipe or looking for another page number when it is just the next or previous recipe. There are not an abundance of photographs throughout the book, however the one that are, definitely stimulate the appetite.

Some of the recipes that are included in the book are: A variety of Caffe Lattes, Cappuccinos, Italian Sodas, Iced Teas and other beverages; Pineapple Salsa; Mandarin Orange and Black Olive Salsa; Peach and Tomato Salsa, Black Current Zinfandel Sauce, Lemon Marinade with Rosemary; Pink Grapefruit Vinaigrette; Grilled Chicken Salad with Mango Vinaigrette (all Vinaigrette recipes contain the recipe and an accompanied recipe to use it with); Mango Chutney; Apricot-Pistachio Country Pate; Grilled Salmon with Pineapple Marinade; Black Currant Mustard; Almond and Mixed Fruit Salad; Lemon Currant Scones; Phyllo-Wrapped Baked Brie with Apricot Chutney; Baked Praline Yams with Pecan Streusel Toppings and Amaretto And Peach Pie.

This is surprisingly good, especially considering it is sugar-free. The chocolate flavor is very rich and is not overly sweet. If you love mochas, then you will love using this instead of chocolate syrup. Zero calories, zero fat, zero carbs and zero sugar... and it's delicious! I think the pumps are overpriced, so I use a cocktail jigger to ensure I put the same amount of syrup each time. I was worried this product would taste "fake", but it doesn't... RECOMMENDED.

I love this product!!! I love Cafe Mochas from Starbucks, but hate the high calorie content (even with non-fat milk). So, I'll buy a cafe latte or cappuccino instead and add this to it and it tastes the same! I'll also use the sugar-free raspberry to make a Raspberry Mocha.



I'm so glad I found this (I get it at World Market), but wish it was available at other places too -- right now the Wld Mkt I shop out has been out of it for over a month! (grrr.)

i mean it's....no miracle but it gets the job done. The taste overall is pretty good. i ordered the vanilla (kinda bitter but has a full bodied flavor that i like) and chocolate........and i like the chocolate more which is surprisng bc im not a huge fan of chocolate stuff but i wanted something to give my coffee and black teas that xtra non-caloric oompf...(plus, opening splenda packets can be a hassle...ya kno when that hot steam liqufies the powder b4 it comes out of the package...maybe thats just my pet peeve) anyways. i might try other flavors in the future...perhaps the fruity ones to add to my herbal/fruit teas.

From the R. Torre Company in South San Francisco comes this "flavoring syrup in its familiar castle-decorated bottle." I add it to sweeten and add a twist of flavor to coffee, but there are many other uses. The label suggests adding it to "sparkling water, steamed milk, hot chocolate, iced coffe, or expresso drinks." Torani comes in many flavors; my favorite simple recipe is adding hazelnut flavoring to steamed, frothy milk. Yum!



Ingredients.

Pure cane sugar, vanilla extract with other natural flavors, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate (preservatives), and citric acid.



That cane sugar is pretty strong. I suggest adding Torani Vanilla with some restraint, or you may mix up a cloyingly sweet beverage.



Nutritional Value.

You don't add this for nutrition, bue here are the facts, anyway: In each two tablespoon serving there are 70 calories, no fat, no sodium, no protein, and 18 grams of carbohydrates (16 grams of which are from sugar).
