This is surprisingly good, especially considering it is sugar-free. The chocolate flavor is very rich and is not overly sweet. If you love mochas, then you will love using this instead of chocolate syrup. Zero calories, zero fat, zero carbs and zero sugar... and it's delicious! I think the pumps are overpriced, so I use a cocktail jigger to ensure I put the same amount of syrup each time. I was worried this product would taste "fake", but it doesn't... RECOMMENDED.

I love this product!!! I love Cafe Mochas from Starbucks, but hate the high calorie content (even with non-fat milk). So, I'll buy a cafe latte or cappuccino instead and add this to it and it tastes the same! I'll also use the sugar-free raspberry to make a Raspberry Mocha.



I'm so glad I found this (I get it at World Market), but wish it was available at other places too -- right now the Wld Mkt I shop out has been out of it for over a month! (grrr.)

i mean it's....no miracle but it gets the job done. The taste overall is pretty good. i ordered the vanilla (kinda bitter but has a full bodied flavor that i like) and chocolate........and i like the chocolate more which is surprisng bc im not a huge fan of chocolate stuff but i wanted something to give my coffee and black teas that xtra non-caloric oompf...(plus, opening splenda packets can be a hassle...ya kno when that hot steam liqufies the powder b4 it comes out of the package...maybe thats just my pet peeve) anyways. i might try other flavors in the future...perhaps the fruity ones to add to my herbal/fruit teas.

From the R. Torre Company in South San Francisco comes this "flavoring syrup in its familiar castle-decorated bottle." I add it to sweeten and add a twist of flavor to coffee, but there are many other uses. The label suggests adding it to "sparkling water, steamed milk, hot chocolate, iced coffe, or expresso drinks." Torani comes in many flavors; my favorite simple recipe is adding hazelnut flavoring to steamed, frothy milk. Yum!



Ingredients.

Pure cane sugar, vanilla extract with other natural flavors, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate (preservatives), and citric acid.



That cane sugar is pretty strong. I suggest adding Torani Vanilla with some restraint, or you may mix up a cloyingly sweet beverage.



Nutritional Value.

You don't add this for nutrition, bue here are the facts, anyway: In each two tablespoon serving there are 70 calories, no fat, no sodium, no protein, and 18 grams of carbohydrates (16 grams of which are from sugar).

If you haven't tried this product you really should buy a bottle and experience it for yourself. I think that it is good enough that you won't miss the sugar.



Water is so good for us, but so boring. If you are trying to increase your consumption of water, try a little of this in the water.



This product can also be used to make an Italian soda (a little syrup, a little cream, and some sparkling water). Another yummy treat, if only they made a fat free cream it would be perfect. I have not tried to make an Italian soda using the Land-O-Lakes Fat Free half and half but it should work.



My husband and I have been buying this brand of sugar free syrup for years. A pump of this syrup into your coffee changes it from a standard morning beverage into a liquid candy bar in a mug. I recently switched from half and half to soy milk in my coffee. With this syrup in my coffee the switch to soy milk was very easy.



This product can also be used to drizzle on fruit if you need a little extract sweetener.

Torani has a wonderful Italian sound to it, although it's made in South San Francisco. It's pretty ubiquitous here in the Bay Area,, found in many grocery stores, and especially coffee bars and cafes. At the very least, it's a good sweetener, and, at best, it actually imparts the promised flavor.



THe peppermint delivers. I'd rank it with the Hazelnut, and both of these far above the musty old taste of the Almond. THe more Torani Peppermint you add, the more peppermint flavor you'll get. It's a nice non-alcoholic additive for hot chocolate, coffee (!), desserts, and steamed milk.



Ingredients and Nutritional Information.

One ounce of this syrup (there are 25.4 such servings in a 750 ml bottle)

contains 80 calories, no fat, 20 grams of carbohydrates, and 19 grams of sugar (no wonder it's sweet!). The presence of actua peppermint is slightly suspect: THe listed ingredients are "pure cane sugar, water, natural flavors (natural flavors of WHAT?), sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate(these are preservatives), and citric acid.



One More Hint: Close it tightly, because ants just love this stuff!

I keep six or seven flavors of these Torani syrups on hand, right next to my beloved Jura-Capresso F9. I've had to go elsewhere to purchase a "starter" bottle that's made of glass for each flavor, as these bottles on Amazon are plastic and pour spouts (like those in bottles of liquor at bars)fall right out of their necks. I use these as refills for the glass bottles.

The flavor of this syrup is very strong, so unless you think you might like a cloyingly sweet amaretto in your coffee, you might want to steer clear.
